Outokumpu expects stainless steel market recovery in Q2

Outokumpu expects demand in the global stainless steel market to recover in the second quarter of 2014, the Finland-based company said on Tuesday April 29.


This will be driven by a recovery of demand and better sentiment related to rising nickel prices, it explained.
Deliveries and base prices are expected to come in at higher levels quarter-on-quarter for the April-June period.
