UK courts grant LME leave to appeal Rusal warehouse ruling

The UK Court of Appeal has granted the London Metal Exchange leave to appeal an earlier ruling in a case brought by Rusal over the exchange's consultation on proposals to limit warehouse queues.

In an order dated May 13, Lord Justice Jackson granted the LME permission to appeal the earlier ruling in March, which quashed its proposals to introduce rules that would over time reduce the size of queues across its warehouse network to a maximum of 50 days.
