LME OFFICIALS: Al prices finally break $1,900

Aluminium prices settled above $1,900 per tonne in the official session on the London Metal Exchange on Wednesday June 25. It is the first time they have reached that level since August last year.

Three-month aluminium settled at $1,901.50/902 per tonne, from its opening price of $1,894 per tonne. The light metal reached a high of $1,912 per tonne, while trading as low as $1,881.50 per tonne.
