GDP growth forecast
Gabon’s economic indicators are good, with the GDP growth rate at 5.5% in 2013, slightly down from 5.7% in 2012. The GDP growth is forecast to improve to 6.7% in 2014 and 7.2% in 2015, respectively, as a result of increases in oil, forestry and mining revenues, according to the African Economic Outlook 2014 report.
