Brazil's Vetria to lease MMX's Corumbá iron ore asset for 3 years

Brazilian mining company Vetria Mineração has reached an agreement to lease the mining rights of MMX’s Corumbá iron ore operations.


Based in the country’s mid-western Mato Grosso do Sul state, the Corumbá lease is for three years.

The value of the lease is a fixed annual amount of $500,000 to be paid in monthly installments, in Brazilian Reals, from the fourth month of the date of signing the deal, MMX said late on Tuesday...
