Bismuth prices outperform in minor metals markets

Bismuth prices outperformed the rest of the minor metals markets on Wednesday August 27 to hit a fresh three-year high, as tightening supply in China and optimism about the market’s outlook pushed buyers to accept increasingly high prices.

In-warehouse Rotterdam bismuth prices rose as much as $0.40 to $11.80-12.40 per lb, from $11.60-12.00 the week before.
