Ore from Poseidon’s Mt Windarra to feed BHP Nickel West

Australia’s Poseidon Nickel has signed a two-year conditional offtake agreement with BHP Billiton to supply ore from the Mt Windarra site to BHP’s Nickel West Leinster concentrator.

“The contract is for a minimum quantity of 350,000 tonnes of ore per annum and a maximum of 500,000 tonnes, which can be extended to 700,000 tonnes by mutual agreement,” Poseidon said on Thursday October 2.
First ore deliveries are due by February 2015, it said.
