European secondary aluminium ingot prices dipped on Friday October 31, as some producers accepted lower prices for fourth-quarter delivery as they sought to clear stocks ahead of the year’s end.

DIN226 diecasting ingot fell to €1,790-1,840 ($2,257-2,320) per tonne from €1,800-1,850 previously, though offers for first-quarter business next year remained above €1,800 per tonne.
