Indium, bismuth plummet in China ahead of new trading rules

Prices of indium and bismuth dropped sharply this week as investors sought to liquidate positions ahead of new trading rules being adopted by Fanya.

Metal Bulletin bismuth prices in domestic China were 140,000-143,000 yuan per tonne ($10.4-10.6 per lb) on Wednesday, compared with 147,000-149,500 yuan last Friday. Prices of refined indium eased to 4,770-4,820 yuan ($780-786) per kg on Wednesday from 4,960-5,000 yuan last Friday, a fall of 3.7%....
