FeCr benchmark falls to $1.08 for Q1 2015

The European charge and high carbon ferro-chrome benchmark has settled down 7 cents or 6% to $1.08 per lb for the first quarter of 2015, the lowest settlement in five years.

The settlement was announced by Merafe Resources, which operates a ferro-chrome joint venture project with Glencore in South Africa.
