Shalina obtains $110m in finance, includes $20m for offtake from DRC copper-cobalt mine

Shalina Resources has obtained $110 million in finance, including $20 million from trading company Noble Group for a copper offtake from a mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), cfo Sebastien Ansel told Metal Bulletin.

"The total offtake is for 60,000 tonnes of copper cathode and we are producing 20,000 tpy," Ansel said. "Everything was signed in December," he added.
