Boliden’s net profits double in Q4 on stronger dollar, higher production

Boliden posted an increase in profits and revenues in the fourth quarter, as higher production levels and a stronger dollar compensated for lower metal prices, the company said on Thursday February 12.

Revenues for the quarter totalled SKr9.614 billion ($1.15 billion) up 11% year-on-year, while net profit for the quarter almost doubled to SKr836 million, from SKr388 million in the same period in 2013.
