African Minerals’ ceo Watling leaves to join Timis Corp

The ceo of beleaguered Sierra Leone iron ore miner African Minerals, Alan Watling, has left the company after less than six months in the role.


A spokesman for the company confirmed Watling’s departure and said that the company would not be looking for a replacement in the near future.
Sources close to the matter said that Watling has left African Minerals to join Timis Corp, the private investment vehicle of African Minerals’ founder and executive chairman, Frank Timis.
Timis Corp could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
