INTERVIEW: HKEx wants to grow, not destroy, LME trading arena, its CEO says

The goal of Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing is to grow the London Metal Exchange's metals trading arena, not wipe its existing participants out, the HKEx CEO said.

Commenting on member criticism of changes to the LME since HKEx acquired it in 2012, Charles Li said that HKEx runs the LME as a business, not for the members any more.
