Fall in indium, bismuth stocks on Fanya caused by delayed payments to suppliers

The fall in indium and bismuth stocks on the Fanya Metal Exchange last week was caused by a delay in payments for material delivered onto the exchange, which pushed some suppliers to withdraw their metal, sources told Metal Bulletin.

Bismuth stocks on the Fanya exchange fell 20 tonnes on Friday March 13, while indium stocks dropped 4 tonnes, the first time indium stock levels have fallen since the exchange was launched.
