CIS Black Sea slab export prices fall again on poor sentiment

CIS export slab prices have gone down further over the past week amid weak market sentiment, sources have told Steel First.

Steel First assessed export prices for CIS-origin slab in the range of $310-320 per tonne fob Black Sea on Monday April 13.
This was down by $10 per tonne from previous levels, despite beliefs that prices had already bottomed out.
