Indonesian tin sellers in talks on how to split exports following new cap

Members of the Assn of Indonesian Tin Exporters (AETI) are in talks on how to share out the 2,500 tpm of tin exports to be split among them following the introduction of a new cap in Bangka-Belitung, AETI president Jabin Sufianto told Metal Bulletin.

Exports of tin from the region will now be capped at 4,000 tpm, down from 4,500 tpm, after an agreement was reached with Bangka-Belitung governor Rustam Effendi.
