Brazil’s aluminium premiums continue tumbling on weak demand

Brazilian domestic and import aluminium premiums continued the downward trend seen in past weeks as end-user demand remained nearly non-existent, industry participants told Metal Bulletin.

Premiums paid for P1020A ingot delivered São Paulo region were assessed at $480-520 per tonne on May 7, down from $500-550 per tonne in the previous week.
