IMnI CONF: Manganese ore prices waiting on Chinese stock wind-down, IMnl says

Manganese ore prices are unlikely to increase significantly until China’s stocks are run down, Aloys d’Harambure, market research manager at the International Manganese Institute (IMnI), told the IMnI Annual Conference in Shanghai.

“Manganese ore inventories at China’s ports have been increasing since 2013, and reached 3.5 million wet tonnes at the beginning of 2015, according to IMnI statistics,” d’Harambure said.
