Chile’s Cochilco lowers copper price estimate for 2015

Chile’s copper commission, Cochilco, has lowered once more its copper price forecast for 2015 given a scenario of “increased international macroeconomic uncertainty”.

The government’s agency now expects the red metal’s to average $2.77 per lb ($6,107 per tonne) in 2015, from its previous estimate of $2.85 per lb ($6,283 per tonne).
