Turkey imposes aluminium duties on itself

Turkey has imposed aluminium duties on itself, in line with the EU’s aluminium duties, European traders told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday August 5.

The country has imposed a tariff of 3% on aluminium ingots, 4% on aluminium billets, and 6% on aluminium foundry alloys, sources said. These are all in line with the equivalent duties imposed by the EU on its members.
