Taiwan's CSC looking to tap Indonesia's potential

Taiwan’s China Steel Corp (CSC) says Indonesia’s huge demand potential for steel is a key driver of it setting its sight on the country as its next investment venue.


“The main thing is we are optimistic about Indonesia’s future economic development,” Taiwan’s biggest steelmaker said on Wednesday September 2. CSC was also open about the fact that it had been eyeing Indonesia as its next target in Southeast Asia, after having already established production bases in Malaysia and Vietnam.
