Codelco's copper mines "operating normally" after protests, company says

Codelco’s divisions were “operating normally” on Thursday September 10, a day after striking contract workers blocked access to five copper mines, the Chilean state-owned company said.

The Chuquicamata, Gabriela Mistral, Salvador, Andina and El Teniente operations had been affected on Wednesday by demonstrations organised by the Chilean Copper Workers Confederation (CTC).
