INT'L FERRO-ALLOYS CONF: Chinese ferro-nickel smelter's exports drop after temporary ban by Myanmar

A temporary export ban on ferro-nickel imposed by Myanmar in September has stopped a Chinese-owned smelter moving metal to its customers in China, sources told Metal Bulletin.

The Myanmar government stopped the Dagongshan smelter exporting to China in September in a suspension that is still in place, one of its buyers there told Metal Bulletin at its 31st International Ferro-alloys Conference.
