CIS pig iron market moving sideways as buyers hold firm

The CIS export pig iron market has remained broadly steady over the past week, sources told Steel First on Thursday November 19.

While Turkish customers accepted some price rises for imported pig iron amid increases in scrap quotations, buyers in Italy were reluctant to pay more.
In Turkey, the latest deals were closed at $195-202 per tonne cfr, sources said.
