ZPSS keeps its high grade NPI bid price unchanged this week

China’s Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel (ZPSS), a subsidiary of Posco, set its purchase price for high grade NPI (10-15% Ni) at 710-720 yuan ($110-111) per nickel unit, including delivery and VAT, on Friday December 18.

The bid price is unchanged from last week, amid tight supply and weak demand, on this week's stable London Metal Exchange and Shanghai Futures Exchange nickel prices, sources said. The LME nickel price stood at $8,825 per tonne at 5:50pm Shanghai time on Friday December 18, up 1.5% compared with last Friday’s closing price of $8,690.
