Danieli signs investment deals worth $6.2bn with Iran

Italian steelmaking plant manufacturer Danieli has signed deals worth $6.2 billion with Iranian business leaders for the supply of industrial equipment to the Middle Eastern country.

It has set up a joint venture, Persian Metallics, which will install a pelletizing plant to produce around 6 million tpy of iron ore pellets intended for direct reduction plants both in Iran and internationally.
