Manganese prices rise again on tight European supply

Manganese prices continued on their upwards trajectory, as a severe shortage of prompt material in Europe met increased demand from steel mills.

Metal Bulletin’s manganese flake price increased by $110 on the low end and $70 on the high on Wednesday January 28, finishing the pricing session at $1,950-2,000 per tonne and returning to levels not seen since April 2015.
