EU imposes preliminary anti-dumping duties on Chinese HRC

The European Commission (EC) has decided on the level of provisional anti-dumping duties to be imposed on hot rolled coil (HRC) imported into the region from China.

The regulation was announced in the Official Journal of the European Union on Friday October 7, and will come into force a day after its publication.
Provisional anti-dumping duty rates were set in the range of 13.20-22.60%.
The duty was determined at 13.20% for material produced by Handan Iron & Steel Group Han-Bao and by Hebei Iron & Steel; at 17.10% for Bengang Steel Plates; and at 22.60% for Zhangjiagang Hongchang Plate and for Zhangjiagang GTA Plate.
