The EC will outline a “new anti-dumping methodology to capture market distortions linked to state intervention in third countries that mask the true extent of dumping practices,” it said on Wednesday October 19.
For countries exporting to the EU, the new methodology will consider influence of the state, the widespread presence of state-owned enterprises, discrimination in favour of domestic companies, and the independence of the financial sector.
