Southern EU hollow sections prices squeezed by lack of buying

Prices for steel hollow sections are being squeezed by lacklustre demand across Europe, market sources told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday February 8.

Metal Bulletin’s price assessment for commodity-grade square hollow sections made and delivered in Southern Europe narrowed downward by €15 ($16) per tonne to €600-635 ($642-679) per tonne.
