LIVE FUTURES REPORT 17/02: Base metal prices on LME stay low

Base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange were trading lower in the early afternoon of Friday February 17.

The three-month copper price recently traded at $5,953 per tonne, a $49 drop from its previous closing level. Earlier this week, the red metal had hit its highest level in 21 months, when it broke above $6,200 per tonne.
