Major Chinese steel mills cut ferro-silicon tender prices further

Major steel mills in China, which have started to look to secure ferro-silicon for March, have lowered their tender prices further despite a small increase in ex-works offers from smelters, sources in China said.

Both Hebei Steel, the country’s largest mill, and Jiangsu Shagang this week announced decreases in their purchase prices for ferro-silicon for this month.
