CIS slab export prices keep rising on reduced availability, costlier iron ore

Slab export prices in the Black Sea region have increased over the past week, supported by limited slab supplies and strengthening iron ore prices, sources told Metal Bulletin on Monday, February 28.

Metal Bulletin’s price assessment for CIS slab exports was $415-430 per tonne fob Black Sea on February 27, up from $410-420 per tonne fob a week earlier.
