China’s stainless steel prices move up again amid bullish sentiment

Domestic stainless steel prices in China moved up again during the past one week amid bullish expectations of a pick-up in demand in March.

Benchmark 304 stainless cold rolled coil was being traded at 16,500-16,800 yuan ($2,399-2,442) per tonne including VAT in the major market of Wuxi on Thursday March 2, up 200 yuan ($29) per tonne from a week ago.
