ArcelorMittal warns of coal supply disruption to Ukraine mill

ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker, has warned of possible disruptions to coal supplies for its Ukraine asset, Kryvyi Rih, due to the blockades on railways in the east of the country.

Currently, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is dealing with a lack of certain anthracite coal grades, which are crucial raw materials for sintering and steelmaking, the company said on Thursday March 9.
Stocks of these raw materials are exhausted, according to the company, and it is concerned about the risks to future supplies.
