OBITUARY: Copper sales veteran Owen Guerrini dies at 72

Owen Guerrini, who spent nearly half a century working in the copper mining industry, has passed away in Santiago, Chile, at the age of 72.

Owen Albert Guerrini was born in Limerick, Ireland, in 1945. His father worked as a meteorological expert in Shannon Airport, which was the gateway to Europe at the time. His role led him to travel with his family to work in different airports around the world. In the late 1950s, the Guerrini family arrived in Chile. At the time, Owen was 14 years old.
