BULLION LATEST 16/03: Gold prices climb as dollar tumbles after Fed rate rise

Gold prices climbed on Thursday March 16 in London despite a Fed US interest rate rise and a failed “populist revolution” in the Dutch general election.

The spot gold price was recently quoted at $1,224.20/1,224.60 per oz, up $4.05 on the previous close.
