Ferro-alloys futures extend gains on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange

Silico-manganese and ferro-silicon futures on China’s Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) moved up significantly this week, extending the gains seen last week.

The most-traded May silico-manganese contract on the ZCE was quoted at 6,982 yuan ($1,012) per tonne as of 02:27 GMT on Friday March 17, up from its opening price of 6,900 yuan and the March 10 closing price of 6,334 yuan per tonne.
