Turkish domestic scrap prices fall on lower import costs, high stocks

Turkish domestic scrap prices have started to weaken over the past week, in response to falling imported scrap values and high scrap stocks, sources said on Monday March 20.

Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for domestic auto bundle (DKP grade) scrap in Turkey on Monday was TRY885-1.020 ($244-281) per tonne delivered, down from TRY900-1,055 ($248-291) per tonne.
