DAILY SCRAP REPORT: Fresh European trades send indices down

Turkish scrap import prices fell sharply as news of fresh European deals came to light on Monday March 20.

Metal Bulletin’s daily index for Northern Europe-origin scrap closed at $284.82 per tonne cfr, down by $8.87 per tonne compared with Friday’s index. The daily index for USA-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) closed at $292.64 per tonne cfr, down by $8.37 per tonne compared with Friday’s US index.
