Chinese HRC export prices fall faster as domestic market weakens

China’s export prices for hot rolled coil have fallen at a faster pace over the past week amid a weakening of the country’s domestic market.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for May shipments of commercial-grade, boron-containing SS400 HRC was $470-480 per tonne fob for the week ended Tuesday March 28, down $15-20 per tonne from a week ago.
