DAILY SCRAP REPORT: Prices bounce back on news of US cargoes

Turkish scrap import prices inched up by about $4 on Tuesday March 28 as three cargoes from the USA were heard to have been purchased last Thursday and Friday at higher prices.

The rise came after a fall of about $41 per tonne in Turkish import scrap prices since March 9, when they peaked after increasing for about a month.
Market sources thought the bottom of the market had been reached and that prices will now start to rise again.
