China AM: Ferrous futures mostly higher on monthly-basis rebound in steel exports

China’s ferrous futures were generally higher during morning trading on Thursday April 13 following the release of data showing a rebound in finished steel exports in March on a monthly basis.

Shanghai Futures Exchange
October rebar: 2,942 yuan ($427) per tonne, up 26 yuan ($3.77) per tonne
October hot rolled coil: 2,980 yuan ($432) per tonne, up 35 yuan ($5.08) per tonne
Dalian Commodity Exchange
September iron ore: 512 yuan ($74) per tonne, up 7 yuan ($1.02) per tonne
September coking coal: 1,159 yuan ($168) per tonne, down 2 yuan ($0.29) per tonne
