Chinese HRC export prices fall further on domestic weakness

The rate of decline in China’s export prices for hot rolled coil picked up over the past week amid a further softening of the domestic market.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for June shipments of commercial-grade, boron-containing SS400 HRC was $415-420 per tonne fob for the week ended Tuesday April 18, down $25 per tonne from a week ago.
