Copper made up for hitting three-month lows earlier this week with a $74 per tonne increase on yesterday’s close price. Tin edged closer to the $20,000 per tonne mark and zinc rose back above $2,600 per tonne after a weak start to the week.
“It has been a quiet day of trading on the floor, but things are better than they were at the start of the week though still volatile,” a trader said.
