CIS export HRC, CRC prices fall by $5-10 per tonne

Export prices for flat steel from the CIS region have gone down by $5-10 per tonne over the past week, following the dynamics in Chinese export prices, sources told Metal Bulletin on Monday April 24.

Chinese export hot rolled coil (HRC) prices have declined by $55-60 per tonne over the past several weeks. However, they have rebounded slightly in the past few days.
Metal Bulletin’s price assessment for CIS export HRC fell by $10 to $440-450 per tonne fob Black Sea on April 24.
Russia- and Ukraine-origin HRC was heard offered to Lebanon at $470-475 per tonne cfr, or $445-450 per tonne fob.
