Austria denies involvement in Gol-e-Gohar steel project in Iran
The Austrian government has denied that it is helping to fund a new Iranian steel plant, a spokeswoman from the country's finance ministry told Metal Bulletin this week.
The comments contradicted reports published by Iranian media outlets last weekend, which said Austria was extending a credit line to help build a steel plant in Gol-e-Gohar, southern Iran.
