Rebar prices slide in Northern Europe as producers ‘lose nerve’

Northern European domestic rebar prices fell over the past week, sources told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday June 14.

Metal Bulletin's weekly domestic price assessment for rebar in Northern Europe was €435-455 ($487-510) per tonne delivered on June 14, widening downwards by €10 ($11) per tonne from €445-455 ($499-510) per tonne.
The assessment consisted of a base price of €170-190 ($190-213) per tonne delivered, with an added extra of €265 ($297) per tonne for different diameters.
