China’s NFC to buy 51% share in lead-zinc project PT DPM for $200m

China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co (NFC) will purchase 51% of Indonesian mining project PT Dairi Prima Mineral (PT DPM) for $198.8 million, NFC said on Friday June 16.

Subject to approval by its board of directors, NFC will purchase the stake in PT DPM from PT Bumi Resources Minerals TBK (BRM) through its wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, NFC Metal Pte Ltd. After the purchase is complete, NFC will hold a 51% stake in PT DPM, while BRM will hold 29%, and Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Aneka Tambang (PT Antam) will hold the remaining 20% stake....
